Even though it's easy for our first lady to bedazzle us with her elegant fashion choices, most of them being dresses, skirts, and incredible accessories, we should remember a few things.

A) only wearing skirts is totally impractical,
B) she's still a mom that runs around with her adorable kids, and
C) she's just like us!

So what is Michelle Obama's go-to solution for the summer days when a pretty dress just won't cut it? Capri pants! More demure than shorts, but less stifling than trousers, Mrs. Obama has amassed quite a collection of cropped pants for every occasion, whether it's a gardening party, public speaking, or fancy dinner. Sure, some are professional chic and some are mom-ish, but I say hats off to our first lady for being a real woman--I approve of the capris!
