Look of the Week: Christina Ricci's Geometric Mini
I have one request of you, fashion mavens, this season: As you start brainstorming and concptualizing your New Year's Eve ensemble, don't forget to have some fun. Sure, LBDs are a safe and chic approach to dressing for the holidays, but they lack a little life without the right styling. Dresses with color, on the other hand, are foolproof and guarantee an adventure.
That's why my favorite celebrity look of the week is Christina Ricci's! She rocked a fun asymmetrical mini-dress at the National Arts Club's Medal of Honor for Film award presentation in New York City this week. It's so chic and adds curves where they belong.
We're not sure where to get Ricci's actual dress (and odds are, it's probably quite a splurge), but we found other geometric dresses that you can style the same way. Wear any of these with black tights and minimal accessories. Whether you have a New Year's Eve date or not, we can almost guarantee these numbers will help land you a special kiss at midnight.

• BCBG Max Azria Geometric Asymmetric Dress ($209.55 at My-Wardrobe.com)
• Geometric Pattern Sweater Dress ($68 at ArdenB.com)
• Ali Ro Print Jersey Caftan Dress ($78.90 at Nordstrom.com)
So, what are you wearing on New Year's Eve?
