Athough it's only day 3 of Fashion Week, I think I just came face to face with my favorite collection of the upcoming spring. Enter, Lacoste. I'm no stranger to the brand--I've always loved the sporty, preppy style. But what made this particular collection so interesting to me is that it was really frilly and sporty at the same time.

The ladies' pieces retained Lacoste's usual simplicity (of basics and bright solids), but added a little sprinkle--that "sprinkle" being stripes, dotted patterns, light jackets to die for, and a hint of beachy. I can see myself wearing any of these looks during a stroll along the French Riviera. (A girl can dream, can't she?) Le sigh.

Overall, what do you think of Lacoste's spring collection for 2010?
