Happy Birthday, Style Icon Brigitte Bardot
Brigitte Bardot, one of my favorite style icons, turns 75 today! Classic French movies aside, we can attribute lots of our style choices to the model-turned-actress of the '50s and '60s. Surely you've heard of the "Bardot neckline" (a wide open neck that exposes shoulders)? Well, the trend was made popular by Bardot decades ago. She was also known to sport (and set trends with) lots of black knits, newsboy caps, thigh-high boots, thick black eyeliner and a splash of color with paisley scarves.
And go figure--her style contributions are still alive and well on fashionistas today...

It is said "clothes maketh the man".
You could have put a sack on this woman and she would have exuded sensuality.Yes, clothes help but you cannot buy what comes naturally, sadly it can't be bagged or packaged, I'm waiting for the day I'll be first in line to buy!
