I've always been a supporter of nippies. Let me clarify. I've always been a supporter of nude nippies--the kind that you can't see, whose sole purpose is to keep you covered, whether you're wearing a sheer top, white shirt, or strapless dress.

Rihanna, on the other hand, is clearly a supporter of nippies--the kind whose purpose is to be shown off, whether it's with pink sparkly stars under a sheer black top or shiny silver ones on a bare chest under a blazer.

Bristols6, the brand that makes these sparkly, shiny nippies, describes its product as a "patch of freedom," whose qualities are "something fun, something funky, [and] something a little sexy."

To be totally honest, I wouldn't necessarily say that these pink nippies are a fashion faux-pas on the part of Rihanna. Gasp! But maybe it's because I've seen her wear everything from cut-out thigh highs to a sexy dominatrix cat-woman suit onstage.

But if you're not going to get recognized when you're walking down the street in your nippies (and that's 99.7% of us), then you'd better not go anywhere near these sparkly stars, hearts, butterflies or x's... Unless you want people to think you're a porn star.
