The Lady for Michael Kors

michael_kors.jpgAt the Michael Kors show, ladies are strong and polished. One swishes around in lilac and cheetah. I felt a nostalgic pang for the good, old-fashioned, flesh-colored pumps. They seemed fresh and unpretentious. I saw pretty sheath dresses in gardenia, glenplaid pencil skirts, mink-trimmed 3/4-sleeve camel coats and hair in a messy french twist. It is all very '50s with a rich and famous flair. But, a pair of leopard leggings and some cheetah skirts and jackets bring some much needed youthfulness. Some of us are just not ready to give up on fun and be full out "lady." I see a purple aligator bag; it's killer, and some cocktail sheaths in gold and yellow, which are a good fit for cocktails anywhere. Then, there's one beautiful nude chiffon empire gown with a silvery sequin top, which is ready for the red carpet.
