Hi. I'm Finola Hughes from Style Network's How Do I Look? The Fashionator (in her wisdom) decided to ask me to blog for this fab Fashion Week at the center of the Universe: New York City!

Trouble is: Packing. OK, don't know if you are anything like me, but I totally agonize over packing. It should be a fairly easy and carefree pastime, y'know, plan a trip, buy a ticket, book a hotel, pack. Yep, nope. So, my final day in LA was spent "editing" my wardrobe with my hairdresser Hector.

Now Hector is the only honest person in my life when it comes to clothes. The "editing" began harmlessly at 8 a.m., and continued all day, throughout the shoot day at our studio, ending with cross words and arguments about the merits of narrow pants over wide. We ended up with some great Chloe boots (which are very uncomfortable, but who cares), Balenciaga pants, Erin Fetherston bits & bobs from Target, a L.A.M.B. skirt (love this), and various Marc by Marc tops and Zara tees, etc. etc. They all seem to coordinate. I am not one who likes to create looks, I just like to have options, which leads to a terminal case of over-packing.

Just as my luggage was teetering into the 80-pound mark, a friend of Hector's pulls up with three amazing pairs of Report signature shoes! Honestly, such a problem, squeezing them in. Caught the Red Eye, and slept the whole way, certain I have nothing to wear! I wonder if Anna Wintour has these problems when she packs for the European Collections? Or does everything just get messengered over to her hotel from Dior? Yeah, I know.
