The Best Boots in the World

I'm not even kidding.

Courtesy of my new best friend (a generous publicist who sent me free boots), I shopped for Christmas gifts in comfort and style this past weekend. I stepped into my ECCO Supreme High Boots not knowing what's to come. Behold, a revelation that I've been killing my feet in other pairs of shoes when I could've been wearing these.

Not to take anything away from the glorified Uggs and Crocs — yes, I know you're super-comfortable, too — but these boots are freakin' awesome. They're lightweight, provide excellent sole support and — best of all — easy on the eyes. They don't have holes in them and aren't colored bright green. They actually match outfits unlike some sheepskinned footwear I know. I rocked them with black leggings and a chunky, knit sweater and within minutes, there was a woman chasing and flagging me down at the mall to find out where these boots came from. I swear! True story.

So here it is, gals. If you want your heavenly pair (they come in both black and brown), they're $160 at www.eccousa.com and at ECCO stores worldwide. Enjoy!

If it's Ecco, no thanks. I used to love them, but their quality's gone down hill. The stitching, the dye, everything. On my last pair, the sole just fell off. Eek!

I've seen quite a few people wearing them. I don't doubt their comfort but I think they're friggin' u-g-l-y! I can't help it, it looks way too strange to have a high boot with no heel...ick

Personally, I'd rather be wearing Uggs. The high boot with a flat heel look freaks me out...

FUGLY...my goodness, they may be comfortable but they are soooooo ugly! I'd rather wear tie dyed crocks with whatever those are supposed to match!

I recently bought a pair of Ecco boots and they are extremely comfortable. They are also very sexy looking, when dressed up or in casual wear. I've received many more "up and down" looks from men.
When I was trying them on a woman, who anyone could tell had great fashion sense, stopped me to tell me how great they looked and wished they had a pair in her size.
The one thing I would change about them is they are a wee bit large in the calf area. I have skinny but muscular calves. Other wise I love them and will be buying more.

what i will say is that i like these boots too! they probably aren't everyone's flava, but for funky chicks, they work. if you're more glammy, i'd understand why you'd want something with a heel or something with a high-end feel.

we should do a roll call ... what's your favorite pair of boots? (include a link!!)
